GRAD NITE 2024 DETAILS
SCHEDULE: Tuesday, June 4, 2024 10:30 pm – Check-in at AHS main parking lot Wednesday, June 5, 2024 12:00 am – Depart AHS TBD -Stop for breakfast at fast food location. See Food and Beverages section below. 8:30 am (approx.). – arrive Disney California Adventure Park 8:30 am – 9:00 pm – park-hopping access to Disneyland® Park and Disney California Adventure® Park 9:00pm – Jun 6 (Thu.) 2:00am – join Grad Nite events of Disneyland® Park Thursday, June 6, 2024 2:30 am – buses depart Disneyland 11:00 am (approx.)– pick up from AHS IMPORTANT! Before registering, check your calendars to avoid conflicts with college graduations and other family events. Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable. Grads must be dressed according to the Disneyland Dress Code and have their AHS Photo ID in order to board the bus and attend the event. If you are not dressed appropriately according to the Dress Code or do not have your photo ID, you will not be allowed to board the bus, and you forfeit all monies paid for this event— there are NO EXCEPTIONS! TRIP COST: The total cost of the trip is $381. A $210 deposit is required to reserve your spot. The balance amount to be paid will be announced in February 2024. PAYMENT SCHEDULE: Payments will be made in 2 installments. The first deposit of $210 is due on or before FRIDAY, DECEMBER 8, 2023. The second and final payment of $177 is due on or before FRIDAY, MARCH 8, 2024. Payment may be made by check, payable to "AHS PTSA " or via Paypal/credi tcard. A service charge will be added to each Paypal transaction to cover fees charged by Paypal. Space is limited so sign up early! Your non-refundable payment and completed registration forms confirm your space. The first 300 students to register are guaranteed a space if you register by the December 8th deadline. After that, a waitlist will be kept until there are enough students to fill another bus. Payments from waitlisted students will be refunded only if we are unable to fill another bus. CANCELLATION: REGISTRATIONS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE AND NON-TRANSFERABLE. FOOD AND BEVERAGES: Grad Nite is a SAFE and SOBER event. Grads are not permitted to bring ANY food or beverages (including water) on the bus. Water and snacks will be provided on the buses. Buses will stop for breakfast at a fast food location on the way to Disneyland. Bring money for breakfast. Food and drinks are not provided at Disney Grad Nite, so you also need to bring money for meals while at Disneyland and California Adventures. You are encouraged to bring an empty non-glass water bottle to refill while at the parks. CONDUCT RULES -IMPORTANT: Please review the Conduct Rules. Students must abide by all rules and regulations set forth by the trip chaperones, bus companies, Peninsula Tour Company, restaurants, Disneyland, California Adventure, etc. If any of these rules are broken, the participant will be sent home at his/her own expense without refund. If the participant is sent home, the parent or legal guardian will be advised and the participant and parent/guardian will arrange for transportation home at their own expense. CHECK IN TIMES: There will be at least two Grad check-in times during the course of the trip. The times and designated check in points are TBD. CHAPERONES: This is an adult chaperoned event. Chaperones are not responsible for any personal items that are brought on the trip such as cell phones, iPods, cameras, etc. BUS CHOICE: Bus sign up will be announced as the departure date approaches. MANDATORY PARENT & STUDENT MEETING: There is a mandatory virtual meeting for ALL students registered for Grad Nite 2024, their parents or guardians. The meeting is scheduled for the evening of Thursday, May 16, 2024. Please mark your calendars. Time and connection details will be communicated closer to that time. REGISTER ONLINE: Please read and follow all instructions. Our objective is to make the trip enjoyable and memorable for the American High School graduates. Please help us accomplish this by turning in your forms and money on a timely basis. Failure to meet deadlines may result in forfeiting your ticket and not being allowed to choose your bus.
